Australia

I'm starting to rot at home.. =( lifeless me... Therefore, I've worked out a few plans to do during my holidays! Mission to accomplish:
- Rock Climbing
- Shop till I drop
- go MOS for once!!
- trip to Zoo Negara.. don't ask..I've got no idea why..
- Hot spring Park!!
- Sweat it out... I miss playing sports.. Badminton/swimming/gym/squash?/learn tennis haha! but i doubt i can even last for 10 mins! haha
- Play kiddie games in Genting Indoor Theme Park
- Paintball? not too sure bout this..
- Ice Skate!!
- Picnic? no.... Msia's too HOT
- Eat chocolate fondue
- Paddington House of Pancakes!
- still thinking.................

When laa baby, are you coming back?? =( is this the feeling of loneliness or emptiness? EMooo....

Anyway, my family & I went to Melbourne for almost a week from 2nd Nov till 8th Nov 08 to find an apartment for me next year.. However, I couldn't find any as they require the lease to start as soon as possible.. Blehh.... So, i just went there for holidays.. hehe!

This time, my family & I took MAS to Melbourne.. It's been years since I took MAS haha no doubt, I enjoyed it! Thanks to the various movies they provide.. On my way there, I only got to watch Shaolin Girl halfway.. the rest of the time, I was trying to sleep lol! But on my way back, I watched 3 movies in a row! ahah I continued Shaolin Girl, then Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging and lastly, Ice Princess..

I like this movie somehow.. Interesting show..

Typical teenage movie.. Quite funny though.. Worth watching for laughter but..
I suggest just get a dvd and watch..

Watched this show before on Astro.. ahah! just thought of watching it again..

On the day I arrived, they were having a parade on the upcoming Spring Carnival, The Melbourne Cup.. Ladies were dressed with pretty dresses with summery hats and men in suits with a pink rose in their buttonholes.. It ain't all about the horse.. lol

Arthur's Bday

Date: 31st October 2008

One day after our exams, me together with a few friends of mine had an interview for the Pro-Vice Chancellor Award.. HAHA whAT?! I was just giving a try and I want people to know even if they might not be academically good, it's no harm trying.. and yes I'm one of those who doesn't have superb academic results, indeed I think I had the lowest academic results compared to my friends.. hahahah! This thing about trying out opportunities doesn't only go along with scholarship interviews but many other challenges we face in life, especially in what we want and love to do.. Never never be afraid to achieve the best even if you know you might not make it.. Miracle happens once in awhile if you believe ;) and I do believe in that.. haha However, I'm sure there's always something to learn from if we fail or even succeed.. Oh well, sometimes I myself, tend to live in denial by saying it was good enough but the truth is, it wasn't.. Is it because it was easier living in denial? that I don't really have to face whatever problems that really exist in order to improve the quality of my living? I guess it all depends on how much effort one is able or wants to put in to achieve the highest..

The panel of judges were Ms Ellise and the Ting sisters.. and the questions I was asked:
1) Tell me more about yourself.
2) Tell me more about my parents.
3) Why do I deserve the scholarship compared to others?
4) What are my weaknesses?
5) Would you want to pursue further in studies?
6) How do I counter racism in Australia?
7) What's my ambition?
8) If you are given 1 million, what would you do with it?
9) Tell me about the current situation in this world?
10) What do you know about the Melamine case?
11) How can you help the recent issue in Congo? I had NOOO idea what happened in Congo! =(

I screwed up the last 2 questions! pffft!!!! Everyone took about 20 minutes and I took 40 minutes!!!! I wished I had walked out after 20 minutes to avoid the last 2 questions.. =( sadly, I was the last, so that leaves no reason for them to shoo me on time.. Anyway, it's over.... and we're all still waiting for the news.. haha! Best of luck for all of us!!!

However, we all four stayed back until I was done.. then we waited for awhile for the judges to come out from the room so we could take pictures....
Unfortunately, they didn't want to take pictures when they're out.. ISH! all the effort waiting.. -_-

On that very same day, we went to Souled Out to celebrate Arthur's Bday!!

We wanted to get a flaming lamborghini at first, but because we were situated upstairs, they can't give us lamborghini.. so the guys got him this cocktail.. The bartender said it was the strongest..
But after awhile, we thought it wasn't good enough so we got him another glass..
haha!!
